Jodee, I really enjoyed your digital story. The pictures were very interesting. It is crazy to think not only how things have changed, but how FAST they have changed! I bet from your mother’s perspective she couldn’t believe the new technology we now have. I am very sorry for her loss, and I could only imagine how difficult that would be for you. However, I know she would have been impressed with this wonderful video and tribute! The best thing about your video was the music. It was softer/louder and slower/faster at the perfect moments in correspondence with the pictures. I don’t think I would change anything. Well done!
The images in this video were cute. It reminded me of "Nick at Nite". I was starting to get really annoyed with the music but then it did seem to go well with the annoyance of all the technology and cellphones in your images so it actually tied it together. It really is so fascinating how far we've come with technology, particularly regarding computers and phones. The best part was that it was related to your mother's history. I hope it was a nice way for you to get your class work done even when your mom was on your mind (and heart!) I'm sorry for your loss and impressed at your ability to get your assignment done on time!
Your digital story made me think about my grandfather who passed earlier this year and his distaste for modern technology. One thing you might think about changing is to add a voice over in the middle as the images from the past que through. The best thing about your digital story is how far technology has brought us, weather it is good or bad.
Your story made me think about what it used to be like in the old days with Television. I would consider adding music or wording. If you did then my computer did not play it, which I would respond with “The wonderful world of technology.” The best thing I feel is showing the changes of technology over time.
Your digital story supports my thoughts on that there should be more teaching on the history of electronic technology. I suggest that you could add more voice over for your story. The best thing about it is that it is captivating.
